It started on a crisp fall day in October, 2022. Veronica and Brett met for the first time in a cozy coffee bar tucked on the corner of a busy street. Neither of them knew it then, but that small moment would be the beginning of something big.

Brett was immediately drawn in-not just by Veronica's smile, but by her terrible (yet hilarious) jokes and the way she laughed at the punchline. Veronica on the other hand, couldn't stop staring at Brett's ocean-blue eyes and was completely charmed by his calm presence and kind smile.

One coffee turned into two, and before they knew it, they were going to the mountains for markets and winter walks through the pine trees. Anytime there was hot chocolate to be bought and a fire to sit near, that is where they would be.

As time went on they blended their fur family together and enjoyed the comforts of home, going on trips to see family, and spending time with friends. Veronica also put Brett through a rigorous Toronto Blue Jays fan training program. This has resulted in cheering and yelling at the TV during baseball season together.

Their story didn't need any grand gestures. It was built on shared smiles, inside jokes, slow walks, and warm hands held on cool nights. What began with a cup of coffee in the fall became their story growing with every season.
